Rashel Abdishoo

Clinical Audiologist & Clinical Lead

Rashel Abdishoo is a Clinical Audiologist with over 20 years’ experience. She holds a Master of Audiology and has worked in private clinical settings and integrated healthcare organisations. Through her clinical experience, Rashel has developed strong expertise in the assessment and management of hearing disorders, with a focus on delivering evidence-based care that supports communication, quality of life, and sustainable long-term outcomes.

At Simba Health, Rashel plays a key leadership role in developing our Audiology service, contributing to clinical governance, and the integration of audiology with vestibular physiotherapy as part of a multidisciplinary approach. She is passionate about providing quality hearing health services and ensuring early identification and intervention for patients across all ages.

Rashel is also committed to professional development within the audiology field, supporting clinicians through mentorship, structured learning, and clinical excellence frameworks. Her approach combines clinical precision with a strong emphasis on patient education, communication, and collaborative care.

She is recognised for her leadership capability, calm clinical presence, and ability to build strong patient relationships while maintaining high standards of care.

Kate Lau

Clinical Audiologist

Kate Lau is an experienced Clinical Audiologist who has worked for non-profit organizations, outreach services, and private practice. She graduated with a Master of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne.

Kate provides hearing assessments, Vestibular Function Testing, adult hearing rehabilitation, tinnitus management, wax management, and balance assessments. She is experienced in hearing aid fitting and calibration, diagnostic audiology, and client counseling.

She works closely with vestibular physiotherapists and other health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary approach to hearing and balance care. Kate also has experience conducting hearing assessments for young children and school aged children through outreach services in regional Western Australia.

Kate values clear communication and aims to provide care tailored to each patient's individual needs and background.
