Meredith Cook

Physiotherapist and Clinical Lead of Vestibular Services

Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours (Physiotherapy).

Since Meredith graduated in 2009 she has been helping patients who are experiencing vertigo, dizziness, imbalance and headaches both in a hospital setting or outpatient clinic. Meredith loves learning and has completed multiple comprehensive competency based Vestibular Rehabilitation courses and is a Level 2 Watson Headache practitioner. In particular Meredith is passionate about ensuring it becomes standard practice for all children who are experiencing dizziness or have hearing loss or imbalance to be assessed and treated for vestibular dysfunction they may be experiencing. She has developed our Paediatric screening and rehabilitation program and spends time educating other physiotherapists and medical professionals about paediatric patients who have in the past not had access to the services they've needed.

Outside the clinic, Meredith loves all things musical! You will find her watching the latest musical theatre, running a musical playgroup for her local church and community, or playing the ukulele.

Sacha McCulloch

Sacha McCulloch

Vestibular Physiotherapist

Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT), Master of Research (MRes).

Sacha specialises in helping individuals recover from vestibular disorders using the most updated evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques. She also has a background in managing general musculoskeletal conditions and exercise rehabilitation, with a special interest in teaching Clinical Pilates, which she has done for many years. She has recently completed a Master of Research at Macquarie University investigating the experience of exercise in managing individuals with hypermobility conditions.

Sacha operates out of our Thornleigh and Macquarie Park clinics.

Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), University of Sydney.

Lisa has been a practising physiotherapist since graduating from the University of Sydney in 1992. Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience across a range of physiotherapy specialties, working at John Hunter Hospital, Royal Rehabilitation Centre, and Mona Vale Hospital. While at Mona Vale Hospital, Lisa took on the role of Team Leader and was also appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer with the University of Sydney in recognition of her contributions as a clinical supervisor for physiotherapy students.

Lisa's journey into Vestibular Physiotherapy began over 10 years ago at On-Balance Physiotherapy. She is passionate about ongoing professional development and is committed to applying the latest evidence-based practices to support her clients' recovery and well-being. Since commencing at On-Balance Physiotherapy, Lisa has completed several advanced courses, including Advances in Vestibular Rehabilitation and the Level 2 Watson Headache Course. She also attends the NOTSA Conference (Multidisciplinary Vestibular Conference) annually to stay updated with the latest developments in the field.

A proud Northern Beaches local, Lisa enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, walking her dog, and paddle boarding during the summer months. In winter, she manages her youngest daughter's soccer team and loves the occasional ski trip—her favourite being a memorable holiday to Japan.

Chiropractor

Master of Chiropractic (MChiro), Bachelor of Chiropractic Science (BChiroSc).

Ben specialises in helping individuals overcome chronic conditions through his evidence-based, innovative and up-to-date approach. Ben skilfully combines personalised functional rehabilitation based on an accurate diagnosis with hands-on techniques aimed at improving pain, mobility and proprioception. His work reflects a strong commitment to treating long-standing, persistent musculoskeletal issues in both the young and the elderly, as it requires a systematic and personalised approach to successfully address the cause and restore the body's original resilience. Outside of the clinic, he loves living an active lifestyle. Ben strives to explore and understand the body's amazing design and stay in tune with his own health, so he can better support his patients.

Podiatrist

Master of Infectious Disease Intelligence, Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (B.PODMED).

Starting her podiatry career in 2015, Swetha is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She puts a strong focus on patient education, ensuring each person is well-informed of their personalised treatment plans. Her educational background allows her to offer a unique perspective on patient care and a holistic approach in understanding both podiatric and systemic health issues. Outside of the clinic, you'll find her staying active, reading and exploring the city and outdoors with family & friends. Swetha is passionate about community involvement and regularly participates in local educational events to promote foot health awareness and overall well-being.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Australian Catholic University.

James is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist passionate about helping patients move freely and live pain-free. He has extensive experience working with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, NDIS participants, worker's compensation clients, veterans, and the general population. James takes a holistic approach to care, combining thorough hands-on assessments and treatments with tailored exercise prescriptions to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.

Outside the clinic, James leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys spending time at the beach, working out at the gym, and going for runs. A passionate sports fan, James is also an avid follower of the English Premier League and a devoted Chelsea supporter!

Nikeeta Gosavi

Nikeeta Gosavi

Vestibular Physiotherapist

With over a decade of clinical experience, Nikeeta has worked across diverse settings including hospitals, aged care facilities, rehabilitation centres, and private practice. Her expertise covers complex neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, falls prevention, and cognitive impairments such as dementia.

Holding a Master's degree in Neurological Physiotherapy, Nikeeta has developed a deep understanding of how the nervous system influences balance, mobility, and overall well-being. She is known by both patients and colleagues for her warm, calm nature, and is dedicated to delivering rehabilitation tailored to each individual's goals.

Outside of work, Nikeeta enjoys dancing, exploring global cuisines through cooking, attending Pilates classes, and venturing along nature trails and coastal walks. She's always eager for great restaurant recommendations—and just as happy to share her own.

Neeta Sharma

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Bangalore University, India, and a Master's in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Originally from India, Neeta spent nearly two decades in Singapore, where she raised her family and worked as a physiotherapist in a leading tertiary care hospital.

Neeta is passionate about lifelong learning and committed to continually advancing her clinical skills. In recent years, she has undertaken further training in Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates, and developed a strong interest in vestibular physiotherapy—a field she finds especially fulfilling due to the significant and tangible impact it has on patients' quality of life.

Outside of physiotherapy, Neeta enjoys long walks, exploring new places, and unwinding with music.

Sherienne Koh

Sherienne Koh

Vestibular Physiotherapist

Sherienne is one of the newest vestibular physiotherapists to join the On Balance team at Simba Health. She is fascinated by how one of the body's smallest organs can have such a profound effect on function. She is particularly drawn to the integration of technology in diagnosing and treating balance, headache, and dizziness disorders.

A graduate of the University of Sydney Physiotherapy Bachelors degree, Sherienne has developed a well-rounded clinical background through her work in community aged care and private practice. These experiences have shaped her holistic, person-centred approach to care and fuelled her passion for helping clients regain balance, mobility, and confidence in their daily lives.

In addition to her vestibular expertise, Sherienne is an accredited lymphoedema practitioner, allowing her to support clients with complex and chronic conditions with empathy and precision.

Outside the clinic, Sherienne is a passionate rugby player, having proudly represented Singapore in Rugby 7s tournaments across Asia. She also enjoys bushwalking, swimming, and unwinding with a good true crime documentary.

Tania Pocock

Bachelor of Applied Sciences, Master of Physiotherapy Practice, and Bachelor of Multimedia Systems (Programming).

Since transitioning into physiotherapy eight years ago, Tania has gained extensive experience working with seniors in both aged care and the community. She has enjoyed running group exercise classes and working with clients individually to achieve their goals to keep moving safely and enjoying the things they love.

Bringing together skills in healthcare and technology, Tania is passionate about delivering patient-centered care, improving outcomes for older adults, and embracing innovation in physiotherapy practice.

Outside of work, Tania enjoys travelling and exploring new places. When the weather is nice, you'll find her spending time outdoors, trying to keep up with her boys. Otherwise, you may find her curled up with a good mystery.

Miriam Blaymires

Miriam Blaymires

Vestibular Physiotherapist

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), University of Newcastle (2016).

Miriam Blaymires is an experienced physiotherapist with almost a decade in private practice, specialising in musculoskeletal, vestibular, and concussion rehabilitation. She has built a strong reputation for delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care.

In 2022, her professional interest shifted towards vestibular rehabilitation after successfully managing a challenging post-concussion case. She subsequently completed the Vestibular Clinical Competency Course and joined On Balance Physiotherapy under the mentorship of Pam Reynolds, where she further honed her expertise in vestibular, cervical spine, and headache/migraine management.

Passionate about delivering high-quality, outcome-driven care, Miriam is eager to continue advancing her skills in vestibular physiotherapy and contribute to improving patient quality of life through precise assessment, targeted rehabilitation, and collaborative healthcare delivery.
